California Closets is a North American manufacturer and retailer of custom closets, cabinetry and home storage systems, founded in 1978 in Woodland Hills, California by then college student Neil Balter. It sells through a network of more than 140 corporate owned and franchised showrooms across the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. The company has operated as a subsidiary of FirstService Brands since October 1998 and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.
