BMW Plant San Luis Potosi is the BMW Group car factory in San Luis Potosi state in central Mexico, and the Group's only car plant in that country. When the seventh generation 3 Series, the G20, replaced the car built at Rosslyn in South Africa, BMW started building it in Mexico, to be sold in several world markets, the United States among them. The plant also builds the 2 Series coupe, it opened in 2019, and its output is shipped to customers in many countries.
