Mehr News Agency is a semi-official Iranian news organization headquartered in Tehran, founded on June 22, 2003 and owned by the government-linked Islamic Development Organization. It transmits news and photographs in six languages, including Persian, English, Arabic, Turkish, Urdu and Kurdish, through five regional centers inside Iran and correspondents abroad, and is described as the most multilingual news agency in the country.
