Anka News Agency is a Turkish news agency founded in 1972 and based in Ankara, Turkey. Its name means phoenix in Turkish. The agency became a joint stock company under the leadership of Muserref Hekimoglu after 1977 and has operated as a national news organization for more than five decades.
