Bandai Namco Holdings Inc. is a Japanese entertainment conglomerate headquartered in Tokyo, formed in 2005 through the merger of the toy maker Bandai and the video game and amusement company Namco. Its operating units span toys and collectibles under Bandai, including Bandai Spirits' Gundam model kits; video game development and publishing under Bandai Namco Entertainment; amusement arcades and machines under Bandai Namco Amusement; and anime and film production through subsidiaries including Sunrise. Its video game franchises include Tekken, Pac-Man, Tales of and Soulcalibur, and its anime studios have produced long-running franchises such as Mobile Suit Gundam.
