Magyar Telekom

Magyar Telekom Nyrt. is Hungary's leading telecommunications provider, headquartered in Budapest and majority owned by Deutsche Telekom, which holds about 61 percent of the company. Operating under the Telekom brand, it traces its roots to Magyar Távközlési Vállalat, founded in December 1989 and restructured as a public company at the end of 1991, and today offers fixed and mobile telephony, broadband internet, digital television and IT and system integration services to residential and business customers.
