Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group

Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, generally known by its abbreviation VNPT, is a Vietnamese state-owned telecommunications and postal conglomerate headquartered in Hanoi. VNPT is the historical successor to Vietnam's original state postal and telecommunications authority, from which the country's other major operators, Viettel and MobiFone, were later split off as independent state enterprises to introduce domestic competition. VNPT operates the VinaPhone mobile brand together with extensive fixed-line, broadband and enterprise IT and digital transformation services, and it remains one of the three dominant telecom groups in Vietnam's market alongside Viettel and MobiFone.
