Zenith Aircraft Company is a designer, developer and manufacturer of kit aircraft, selling designs that amateur builders assemble themselves. Its products include the Zenith STOL CH 701, a short take-off and landing light aeroplane designed by Chris Heintz. The company is a modern example of the kit-aircraft industry, in which a small firm supplies plans, parts and support rather than finished aeroplanes. It is recorded here as the maker of the CH 701.
