Triumph Motorcycles Limited is the largest UK-owned motorcycle manufacturer, established in 1983 by John Bloor after the original company, Triumph Engineering, went into receivership. The new company, first called Bonneville Coventry Limited, continued Triumph's lineage of motorcycle production, which dates to 1902, and it has major manufacturing facilities in Thailand. In the twelve months before June 2017 it sold 63,400 motorcycles. It is recorded here as the maker of the Bonneville, the motorcycle whose name the first company used when it was refounded.
