Targa Resources Corp.

Targa Resources Corp. is an American midstream energy company headquartered in Houston, Texas, one of the largest gatherers and processors of natural gas and natural gas liquids in the United States. It was founded in 2005 to acquire and consolidate natural gas gathering and processing assets, and it has grown its footprint substantially in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico, the country's most active shale oil and gas play, alongside operations along the Texas Gulf Coast. Targa gathers raw natural gas from wellheads, processes it to separate valuable natural gas liquids such as propane and butane, and transports and exports these products through its own pipeline, storage and marine terminal infrastructure.
