Sysco Corporation is an American foodservice distribution company headquartered in Houston, Texas, formed in 1969 through the combination of several regional food distributors. It became the largest foodservice distributor in the world, supplying food products, kitchen equipment and related supplies to restaurants, hospitals, schools, hotels and other institutions that prepare meals away from the home.
