PVH Corp., formerly the Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, is an American clothing company headquartered in New York City with roots in shirt manufacturing dating back to the nineteenth century under the Van Heusen and related brand names. Over recent decades the company transformed from a manufacturer of its own house apparel brands into a global owner and licensor of major fashion brands, most significantly Calvin Klein, acquired in 2003, and Tommy Hilfiger, acquired in 2010, alongside licensed brands including Van Heusen, IZOD, Kenneth Cole New York and Michael Kors dress furnishings. PVH markets and distributes its brands through wholesale, retail and licensing channels across dozens of countries worldwide.
