Petronas, formally Petroliam Nasional Berhad, is a Malaysian state-owned multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, established in 1974 and vested by the Malaysian government with the country's oil and gas resources. It is a vertically integrated company active across exploration, refining, distribution, marketing and trading, with operations in more than one hundred countries.
