Paramount Global is an American media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in New York City, formed in 2019 when Viacom and CBS Corporation, which had themselves split apart in 2006 after operating as one company, recombined as ViacomCBS, later renamed Paramount Global in 2022. It owns the Paramount Pictures film studio, the CBS broadcast network, and cable and streaming brands including MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and the Paramount+ streaming service.
