Nuevo Central Argentino is an Argentine freight railway company formed in 1992 by a private consortium including Aceitera General Deheza, Banco Frances del Rio de la Plata, the Asociacion de Cooperativas Argentinas and Roman Maritima, and it is now owned by Aceitera General Deheza. It runs about 5,000 kilometers of cargo lines across five Argentine provinces using the infrastructure of the former Mitre Railway division, hauling agricultural products and other freight; in 2014 alone it carried 7.4 million tonnes of cargo.
