No-Do was a Spanish state-controlled newsreel series, short for Noticiario y Documentales, that ran from 1943 to 1981 and served as mandatory cinema viewing under Francisco Franco's dictatorship, providing state-controlled news, censorship and propaganda to Spanish audiences. Production ended in 1981 when the operation was absorbed into the state broadcaster RTVE, which digitized and made the surviving archive publicly available online in December 2012, with only five newsreels lost.
