Moulton is an English bicycle manufacturer based in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. The company was founded in 1962 by Alex Moulton, who had earlier designed the Hydrolastic and rubber cone suspension systems for the BMC Mini. Its bicycles are noted for an unconventional frame design, small wheels, and front and rear suspension. Moulton bicycles are often grouped with folding bicycles but are better described as small-wheel bicycles, and versions such as the Standard, Deluxe and Speed models were built for general use and for competition.
