MAN Truck & Bus SE, formerly MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, is a German commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Munich and a subsidiary of Traton, one of the leading international providers of commercial vehicles. It produces vans, trucks, bus chassis, coaches, interurban coaches and city buses, as well as diesel and natural-gas engines. The MAN acronym originally stood for Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nuernberg AG. On 1 January 2011 MAN Nutzfahrzeuge was renamed MAN Truck & Bus to better reflect the company's products on the international market, and buses of the Neoplan brand belong to the MAN Truck & Bus Group.
