The Kumamoto City Transportation Bureau is the public transportation authority of Kumamoto City, Japan, operating the city's light rail tram network since it began service on 16 November 1921. It currently runs two regular standard-gauge tram routes, charging a flat fare of 180 yen for adults and 90 yen for children payable in cash or by transit card, and it has since privatized the bus services it once ran, concentrating today on its tram network.
