King Features Syndicate is an American content syndication company headquartered in New York, founded in 1915 by newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst and operated today as a subsidiary of Hearst Communications. It licenses comic strips and editorial content to newspapers and other publishers worldwide, distributing long-running strips such as Popeye, Beetle Bailey, Blondie and Prince Valiant.
