Kaiser Jeep

Consumer Discretionary

Kaiser Jeep was the owner of the Jeep brand between Willys-Overland and American Motors. It came out of the 1953 merger of Kaiser Motors with Willys-Overland of Toledo, first under the name Willys Motors, and in 1963 it took the Kaiser Jeep Corporation name and dropped the Willys name. It stopped building passenger cars in the mid 1950s, concentrated on Jeep vehicles such as the Wagoneer and Gladiator, and sold the business to American Motors in 1970.
