Hasbro, Inc. is an American multinational toy manufacturing and media company headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, founded on December 6, 1923, by brothers Henry, Hillel and Herman Hassenfeld. The company's brands include Transformers, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, Nerf, Play-Doh, Furby and Peppa Pig, alongside its long-standing Monopoly and other board game lines built up through its Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers subsidiaries. Hasbro also owns Wizards of the Coast, publisher of Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons, and it has pursued entertainment ventures adapting its toy properties into film and television, most prominently the Transformers film series.
