George Brown and Co. Limited was a shipbuilding and repair company that operated from the Garvel Park Shipyard in Greenock, Scotland. It was incorporated in 1901 by its eponymous founder, formerly general manager of the Denny shipyard in Dumbarton. The first ship built by the company was the Princess Beara, launched in 1901 for the Bantry Bay Steamship Company, and the last was the buoy tender Wilton, launched in 1982 for the Tees and Hartlepool Port Authority.
