General Motors (Thailand) Limited, known as GMT, held the Thai sales and manufacturing companies of General Motors. It was registered in 1993 as a sales company and opened its plant at Rayong in 2000, from which it exported vehicles to South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and Japan, among them the Chevrolet and Holden Colorado. General Motors announced its withdrawal from Thailand in February 2020, and Great Wall Motors took over the Rayong plant.
