Jupiter Cantab Limited was a Cambridge based British home computer company, founded in 1982 by Richard Altwasser and Steve Vickers, two former Sinclair Research staff who had worked on the ZX Spectrum. Its only major product was the Forth-based Jupiter Ace, launched in 1983 at 89.95 pounds, which looked much like the ZX Spectrum but used the Z80 processor with monochrome video and the Forth language instead of BASIC. The machine flopped in the United Kingdom and the United States, and the company went bankrupt in November 1983. Its assets were sold to Boldfield Computing Ltd in 1984, and the brand later passed to Andrews UK Limited in 2015.
