First Bancorp

First Bancorp is an American bank holding company headquartered in Southern Pines, North Carolina, founded in 1935, that operates through its subsidiary First Bank in North Carolina and South Carolina. As of 2023 it ran 118 branches with about 12 billion dollars in assets, making it the sixth largest bank based in North Carolina, and its stock trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker FBNC.
