Finnkino Oy is a Finnish film distributor, producer and movie theater chain established in 1986 as a union of 34 companies in the film industry. It was acquired by the Rautakirja Group in 1994, which became part of the Sanoma Group in 1999, and it operates 16 cinemas across eleven Finnish cities along with subsidiaries in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia under the Forum Cinemas and Forum Distribution names; in early 2017 it was acquired by AMC Theatres as part of AMC's purchase of the Nordic Cinema Group.
