Film Ventures International was an independent film production and distribution company founded in 1968 by Edward L. Montoro, initially based in Atlanta before relocating to Hollywood. It specialized in producing and distributing low budget horror and B movies, including acquiring Italian genre films for United States distribution and creating films modeled on major blockbusters. Weakened by the failure of films including Great White, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and closed in 1985.
