Ferrovia Paulista S/A, known as FEPASA, was a state-owned railway company of the government of Sao Paulo, Brazil, formed on October 28, 1971 by consolidating five existing railroads, the Paulista Railroads Company, the Mogiana Railroads Company, the Sorocabana Railroad, the Araraquara Railroad and the Sao Paulo-Minas Railroad. Headquartered in the city of Sao Paulo, FEPASA carried both freight and passengers over a network of more than 5,000 kilometers spanning Sao Paulo state and parts of Minas Gerais until its dissolution on May 29, 1998.
