Federated Co-operatives

Federated Co-operatives Limited is a cooperative federation headquartered in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, formed in 1944 from the merger of the Saskatchewan Co-operative Wholesale Society and the Consumers' Co-operative Refinery, and owned by about one hundred sixty member co-operatives across Western Canada. It distributes goods through warehouse facilities, operates a petroleum refinery and propane distribution centers, and supplies independent grocery stores, ranking as Canada's largest co-operative by sales with 2025 revenues of 11.695 billion Canadian dollars.
