Dennis Eagle is a British commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Warwick, England, best known for its refuse collection vehicles and, in earlier years, for its work on fire engine cabs in the Dennis tradition. The company was formed in 1985 by the Hestair group, which merged the municipal vehicle work of Dennis Brothers with the Eagle Engineering Company of Warwick, and it moved production to a new plant at Heathcote that became the largest refuse vehicle manufacturing site in Europe. Its Elite range of more than 1,100 vehicles a year is largely assembled by hand, with chassis and bodies built in Warwick and cabs made in Blackpool. Ownership has passed through Hestair, private equity, ABN Amro, Ros Roca from 2007 and, since 2016, the Royal Terberg Group, and the company also sells trucks in Australia and New Zealand.
