Daum is a French crystal studio specializing in decorative glasswork, founded in 1878 by Jean Daum and based in Nancy, France. It is one of the only crystal manufacturers to use the pate de verre, or glass paste, process for art glass and crystal sculptures, packing crushed glass into a mold and fusing it in a kiln, and it became especially renowned during the Art Nouveau period under the direction of Daum's sons Auguste and Antonin. All of its pieces remain handmade by employees working in the Nancy region, at facilities in downtown Nancy and the nearby village of Vannes-le-Chatel.
