The Croatian News Agency, known by its acronym HINA, is the government-owned national news agency of Croatia, established on 26 July 1990 and operating from Zagreb's Lower Town district. The agency functions as a wire service employing approximately 100 journalists who produce text, photograph, video, graphics and audio content, and maintains a network of 25 bureaus throughout Croatia and internationally to support its news distribution operations.
