Company Type groups the companies in this atlas by their own legal or organizational form, such as public company, private company, subsidiary or state-owned enterprise. The value for each company comes from its own Wikipedia infobox, so the exact wording (public company against a plain public, for example) reflects that company's own source article rather than a single fixed vocabulary.
