CNP Assurances is a French insurance company headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris, founded in 1959 and taking its name from its origin as the Caisse Nationale de Prevoyance. It is a leading personal insurer in France and one of the largest insurers in Europe and in Brazil, specializing in life insurance, pensions, personal risk and creditor insurance, and health coverage, and it ranks as France's largest provider of creditor insurance and second-largest life insurer. In 2022 the French postal financial group La Banque Postale completed a takeover of CNP Assurances, delisting it from Euronext Paris and making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
