CMHK

CMHK, or China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited, is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Mobile and the largest telecommunications operator in Hong Kong, incepted in January 1997. It was the first operator to launch personal communications services in Hong Kong and now provides mobile telephone, internet and broadband services locally along with cross border mobile services linking Hong Kong, mainland China and international destinations. As of June 2017 the company served about eight point two seven four million subscribers, making it Hong Kong's leading mobile network operator by subscriber count. In December 2012 CMHK launched what it describes as the world's first network combining TD-LTE and LTE FDD fourth generation roaming technology, a milestone in the company's development of mobile network technology.
