Clariant AG is a Swiss specialty chemicals company headquartered in Muttenz, near Basel, Switzerland. It was formed in 1995 as a spin-off of the chemicals division of Sandoz, and produces specialty chemicals for industries including care chemicals, catalysis and adsorbents, and coatings.
