Cineverse Corp. is an American entertainment company headquartered in Los Angeles, with additional offices in New York City, operating in digital cinema, streaming channels, content marketing and film distribution. It was founded in 2000 as Access IT Digital Media, Inc. by a group led by Bud Mayo, and was renamed Cinedigm Corp. in 2013 before rebranding again in May 2023 as Cineverse to reflect its shift toward streaming content and technology, under chairman and chief executive Chris McGurk. The company's subsidiaries include the horror-focused Bloody Disgusting, The Dove Channel and The Film Detective, and beginning in October 2024 Cineverse expanded into theatrical distribution in the United States, releasing films such as Terrifier 3.
