Carrozzeria Vignale was an Italian coachbuilder set up in Turin in 1948 by Alfredo Vignale. It first bodied a Fiat 500 Topolino and then worked for firms such as Cisitalia, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Maserati and Lancia, in close cooperation with the designer Giovanni Michelotti. After its founder died in 1969 it was acquired by De Tomaso, and the Vignale name was later revived by Ford of Europe as a luxury sub-brand of its cars.
