British American Tobacco p.l.c., known as BAT, is a British-American multinational company that manufactures and sells cigarettes, tobacco and other nicotine products including electronic cigarettes. The company was established in 1902 and is headquartered in London, England. As of 2025 it is the second largest tobacco company in the world based on net sales.
