Bertone, formally Gruppo Bertone, was an Italian styling house and coachbuilder at Grugliasco near Turin, started as Carrozzeria Bertone by Giovanni Bertone in 1912. After the Second World War Nuccio Bertone divided it into a manufacturing unit and a styling unit, and it also built whole cars for other makers, among them the Opel Astra Cabrio and Astra Coupe. It went bankrupt in 2014, after which its name passed to a small design office in Milan.
