Arch Capital Group

Arch Capital Group is a Bermuda-based specialty insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance company established in 2001 and headquartered in Pembroke, Bermuda, publicly traded on the Nasdaq exchange as a component of the S&P 500. It underwrites globally across specialty lines considered more difficult or unusual to price than standard risks, spanning casualty, property, marine, aviation and mortgage insurance, operating from more than 60 offices across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Arch Capital's mortgage insurance business grew substantially through its 2016 acquisition of United Guaranty from American International Group, adding scale to its already sizeable specialty insurance and reinsurance operations.
