APCOM is a major press agency in Italy, founded in Rome in 2001 by journalist Lucia Annunziata, with offices in Budapest, Brussels, Moscow and New York City. Since its founding it has held an exclusive partnership with the Associated Press for Italy and Switzerland, signed an agreement with RIA Novosti in 2008, and serves as the exclusive Italian partner of MINDS International. In 2003 it was acquired by Telecom Media News, a division of Telecom Italia Media, and it supplies reports and news for the La7 and MTV Italy news programmes, teletext and websites.
