Anchor Bay Entertainment is an American home entertainment and film distribution company formed in 1995 through a merger of Video Treasures and Starmaker Entertainment. Starz Distribution, then a subsidiary of Lionsgate, acquired the company in 2003, and Anchor Bay released feature films, television series and specials on DVD and Blu-ray, arranging a distribution deal with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment beginning in 2004 and renewed in 2011. Lionsgate folded Anchor Bay Entertainment into Lionsgate Home Entertainment in 2017, and in 2024 new owners Thomas Zambeck and Brian Katz acquired rights to the Anchor Bay name and revived the company, now operating as Starboard Entertainment and focused on new release genre films, cult classics and remastered catalog releases.
