Brookfield Corporation is a Canadian multinational alternative investment management firm established on August 1, 1997, through the merger of Edper and Brascan Ltd. It is headquartered at Brookfield Place in Toronto, Ontario, and manages more than 1 trillion US dollars of assets, investing in real estate, renewable power, infrastructure, credit, and private equity globally.
