20th Century Studios

20th Century Studios, Inc. is an American film production and distribution company, formed on May 31, 1935 through the merger of Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures under the name Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. The studio built its original lot in Century City, Los Angeles, and later expanded into television, animation, and gaming divisions alongside its core film business. The Walt Disney Company acquired the studio on March 20, 2019 as part of its purchase of most of 21st Century Fox assets, and 20th Century Studios now operates as a unit of the Walt Disney Studios division, having relocated to the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank at the end of 2025.
