Customer-to-customer, or C2C, is a business model in which a business creates an environment that allows two customers to interact and transact directly with each other, rather than every purchase running through a business-to-customer relationship. A common example is an online auction, where one consumer lists an item for sale and other consumers bid on it, with the platform acting only as an intermediary that typically charges a flat fee or a commission on the sale.
