Rosabeth Moss Kanter is an American sociologist and Harvard Business School professor, born 15 March 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. She co-founded Harvard University's Advanced Leadership Initiative, serving as its founding director and chair from 2008 to 2018. She is known for a groundbreaking 1977 study of tokenism and its effects on minority group performance in the workplace, and for books including Men and Women of the Corporation and The Change Masters.
