Eggo

Eggo is a brand of frozen waffles, along with pancakes, French toast and breakfast sandwiches, invented in 1953 by American inventor Frank Dorsa, who developed a process for cooking, freezing and packaging waffles for retail sale. The brand's name came from an earlier Dorsa product, Eggo Mayonnaise. Eggo was long owned by the Kellogg Company, renamed Kellanova in 2023, and by mid-2009 held roughly 73 percent of the frozen waffle market in the United States, with varieties including homestyle, blueberry, strawberry, brown sugar cinnamon and chocolate chip.
