Xerox

Xerox is an American corporation that sells printers, digital document products and related services in more than 160 countries, headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut with a large historic base of employees around Rochester, New York, where the company was founded. It pioneered the photocopier market with the 1959 introduction of the Xerox 914, so influential that xerox became a common synonym for photocopying, and researchers at its Palo Alto Research Center invented key elements of personal computing, including the desktop graphical user interface and the computer mouse, later adopted by Apple and Microsoft.
